Organizational Rules of the "Medical Advisory Committee" of the Taiwan Medical Association
2018/7/14 The 2nd meeting of the 26th Board of Directors and Supervisors approved the revision of Article 3 concerning the number of members and added consultants.
Article 1
In order to deal with medical consultation issues and assist in the advisory proposal of medical disputes, the Taiwan Society of Surgery sets up the "Medical Advisory Committee of the Taiwan Society of Surgery"
Article 2
The committee has a chairman who is appointed by the president of the board of directors and supervisors. The term of office is the same as that of the supervisors. He is responsible for handling the business of the committee, implementing the relevant resolutions of the committee and the supervisory committee, and attending the supervisory committee to report on the relevant affairs of the committee. Resolutions on membership rights and interests must be submitted to the board of directors for approval.
Article 3
The committee has several members and advisors, and one director-general, who is recommended by the chairman and appointed after the approval of the chairman. The term of office is the same as that of the directors and supervisors.
Article 4
Member qualifications: Served as an attending physician for more than ten years (inclusive) or as a lecturer (inclusive) appointed by the Ministry of Education.
Article 5
Tasks of the Committee:
- Deal with external medical consultation issues.
- Assist in the advisory proposal of surgical medical disputes.
- Collate surgical data and information.
Article 6
The committee meets once a year, which is convened by the chairman. If necessary, it may hold an ad hoc meeting or discuss by means of communication to reach a consensus.
Article 7
According to the Article 25 of the stipulations of the Association, these Guidelines shall be implemented after being drafted and approved by the Council, and the same shall apply to changes.
